Each of the pieces in LOVE 2022's upcoming Art Show was created by Sarah McPherson using an experimental film process called "Film Soup." This process is a very broad and open-ended experimental photography medium that allows the voices of non-verbal elements to take a new visual shape.
ㅤ
In Sarah's work, she aims to explore the relationships we all have with the land and waters around us. In a modern world dominated by technology and amenities, it’s easy to believe that we are separate from the natural world; her work is an exploration of how untrue that really is.
ㅤ
Come join us at The X Gallery for a special guided tour of Film Soup! Learn more about how Sarah works to represent the duality present between what it means to be a person and what it means to be alive relative to the natural world.
